Plain language, no house voice. This page explains what happens to your details when you leave your name at the desk. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
Katebi Invest AB, company registration number 559246-5289, is the controller of the personal data collected on this site. The company is registered in Sweden at c/o Poyan Katebi, Parallellvägen 12, 132 43 Saltsjö-Boo.
For anything on this page, write to bonjour@marciasini.com.
Marciasini is the brand. Katebi Invest AB is the company behind it while the brand company is being registered. When that changes, this page changes with it.
What we collect, and why
When you check in at Le Registre we store your email address, the room number the site assigns you, and which page you registered from. The room number is calculated from your email address, so the same address always gets the same room. We use this to send you Le Courrier, the letters from the house. The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
Visits are counted with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies. A visit is identified by a hash made from the incoming request, which is discarded after twenty-four hours, and the figures are aggregated, so nothing is tied to you or to your IP address. We see which pages were opened, the country or city a visit came from, and the browser and device used. Nothing here is used to build a profile. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether the site works, Article 6(1)(f).
Our host keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Same legal basis.
Your browser stores a little: your room number, so the site can greet you correctly. It stays on your device and is never sent anywhere. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We never sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.
Who else handles it
We use a small number of services to run the site and send the letters. They act on our instructions and may not use your details for their own purposes.
Google receives registrations through a form. Resend stores the contact list and delivers the letters; sending is routed through Ireland. Vercel hosts the site and counts visits.
Google, Resend and Vercel are established in the United States. Transfers there are covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023, and by standard contractual clauses where that decision does not apply.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as you want the letters, and for at most twenty-four months after you last opened or clicked one. Unsubscribe and we remove you from the sending list; we keep a record that you unsubscribed, so that we do not write to you again by mistake.
Analytics data is aggregated and holds nothing that points back to you.
What you can ask us to do
Under the GDPR you have the right to a copy of the personal data we hold about you (Article 15), to have it corrected (Article 16), to have it erased (Article 17), to have our use of it restricted (Article 18), to receive it in a portable format (Article 20), and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Article 21).
Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time (Article 7(3)). Every letter carries an unsubscribe link, and withdrawing does not affect what we did before you withdrew.
Write to bonjour@marciasini.com and we will answer.
If you think we have handled your details badly, you may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (Article 77).
Changes
If this policy changes we update this page and the date below. If a change materially affects you, we tell you in a letter first.
